One of Texas' premier decoy wood carvers, R.D. Wilson has joined the rest of the Ben Wheeler artists and merchants opening his new shop Blue Moose downtown.
Blue Moose houses his beautiful creations as well as one-of-a-kind antique decoys, perfect for the avid collector or serious hunter.
In addition to the timeless folk art that lines the shelves, R.D.'s shop is also home to a little coffee shop.

Last year, The Flying Fish Gallery opened its doors to the public. Artist and gallery owners Randy and Sherri Martin bring you a collection of their art for the home and garden. P.A. Geddie, owner and publisher of her 10-year-old publication – County Line Magazine moved to downtown Ben Wheeler at the end of 2008. She was among the first business and residential tenants who took a chance on Ben Wheeler Development Company and Ben Wheeler Arts and Historic District Foundation because she believed in both organizations’ efforts. Over a year later, the County Line Magazine has settled in nicely and is an integral part of the downtown revival and revitalization.
